It was as comprehensive as a two day course could be and was structured so we had theoretical and practical examples of the different opals. The structure of the course was excellent, it enabled us to participate, freely ask questions and developed interesting discussions amongst the group on both days. I have personally come away from this course with a better understanding of how opals are formed, where they are from, and how to identify the same. How to recognise synthetic/imitation opals, colour treated and to my amazement "Smoked Ethiopian Opals". I have no hesitation in recommending "Introduction to Opal" to anyone that is interested in Opals. On a more personal note, thank you for all of the time, help and support you gave me over the two days.
